Grand Teton National Park Grand Teton National Park is located in northwestern Wyoming, south of Yellowstone National Park. The Teton Range was mistaken as another mountain range in Idaho that a French trapper had named the “teatons” because they resembled a part of the female body (teaton=teats in French). The name stuck. There are nearly 200 miles (320 km) of hiking trails throughout Grand Teton National Park. |
