Detailed Itinerary

 

The Grand Canyon South Rim tour starts with a complimentary pick-up from your Las Vegas hotel. You then head south towards the Hoover Dam, where you have the opportunity to photograph this marvel of civil engineering.

After a brief stop at this modern wonder, we drive through various desert ecosystems en route to the Grand Canyon, passing the extinct volcano "Fortification Hill." Before entering the park, you will stop at the National Geographic Visitor's Center, where you can watch the IMAX Grand Canyon Discovery & Adventure movie (optional). Continuing on through Arizona, we arrive at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This tour has photo stops at the widest and deepest points of the South Rim (21 miles across, 8400 feet deep). With 45 minutes at each stop, you will have ample time to photograph the amazing vistas and rock formations that make the Grand Canyon so impressive.
